Drinking Fountain Sparrow

Male Sparrow in a drinking fountain.

We had a warm day last week and I saw some sparrows enjoying some bath time in a drinking fountain along side the Shinano River. Others were shy and took flight, except this guy. He seemed very happy and carefree. I nice condition for the moment. Please take a breath and enjoy the slideshow below:

Shadows of Sakura

It was already late after I walked my dog, but I headed back out with my camera and biggest lens. It wasn’t long before the sun dropped so the shadows were already quite strong. Just a hint of light splashing the top of the trees. 
The pictures are a bit noisy, but I’m happy with them. Nikon D7100 and Nikkor 200-500 lens.  It started as a wet day, so best to enjoy the sun when it came.
