Michael’s place, Queensland, Australia
December 2, 2016 |
Mick, Rod and I visited Michael Hare’s place early on the second day of summer. After that we went for bit of a drive and I managed some new species for this blog. Sadly, I can only input 200 characters and can’t include all the subjects in my labels/contents.
It was 39c in some places..
Anyway, we saw and heard some fantastic stuff. Thank you to Michael Hare for welcoming us to wander around and to Mick and Rod for bringing me.
Thank you to Rod for identifying the dragonflies.

Great selection of exotic birds Russell……….
Awesome Photos! I think that although it has been given another name this goanna species is stil classified as the Lace Monitor (Varanus varius), as Tree goanna has been another name for the species for a while-that's not to say that I have studied in this department, just done some research! Anyway, love the Drongo flight photo, and the dragonfly shots are spectacular!
Nice birds and stunning "herps" !
