Very excited to find these stars of the Outback on the lawn of a new housing area right in Kingsthorpe.

  1. What an amazing sight to see so many budgies in an urban área. Such a a colourful and beautiful sighting, and very good captures too.:) I wonder what attracted them to this particular spot!

I don't know where Kingsthorpe is but how wonderful to see all the budgies there. The only negative may be the cause of their being there – maybe drought inland?

Wow Budgerigars in natural habitat! I've seen a few escapees around my house but they sure look better in their homeland, especially in large flock like that.

  5. Quite amazing Russell. I've only ever heard of budgie flocks and only now seen one almost live. We get the odd escapee around here but of course they don't last long in the wild and our climate or predators.
