| Japanese Green Pheasant
Male
Shinano River, Niigata City, Japan
July 12, 2014 |
I came across this pair of Japanese Green Pheasants a couple of weeks ago along the Shinano River. Some nice views. I just wished they’d stopped moving about so much an posed more. Duh, wild animals!!
Even though the pheasants were moving you did a good job of photographing them. The male is a beautiful specimen with it's colourful iridescent feathers, and quite different in apperance to the ones I see here. Good find!
Very nice. We get the introduced Ring Necked up here, not as striking as the Green Honshu ones………..
I think you did a really good job. Splendid images of a striking bird.
