   That's a brilliant set of photos. Pintail are seriously wild here of course. What are they like over there?

   Wow…I never succeed in taking photos of ducks in flight. They're just too fast for me…also the pintail is one of the species I've yet to get any good shot.Really like the second pic from the top!

   Pintail are very wild here too Phil. The place I photographed them is the best place to visit to see a variety ducks and swans. It is a small lake set between ricefields. Farmers drop off their excesses after harvesting. Most of the place is fenced off to visitors however so you have to do your best from the sidelines. Thanks for all the above comments everybody.
