Bold Eagle

Wedge-tailed Eagle

and Australian Magpie

I think near Goombungee, Queensland, Australia

August 31, 2014

Well, dare I say; today is my 50th, so to celebrate here is one of my most favouritest subjects. These pics were taken on a drive with Rod Hobson back on August 31. They were taken at 7am and my iso was too low, so I messed up a little. Actually we met up with two young “wedgies”, a male and his sister. This is the male. It was still a wonderful encounter.
Thank you, Rod.

They are great to watch. I see them near my place reasonably often. Last week, one was being harrassed by 2 Pied Currawongs. A little later, it was harassed by two Little Ravens. I wonder if they ever get sick of it! I hope you enjoyed your 50th.
