Enjoyed a national holiday today and spent my time sneaking up on sleeping ducks at Hyoko. I took over 500 photographs. It was fun. Here are 7.

  2. Awesome Russell, didn't realise there were so many beakless ducks in the world! 🙂 Some truly beautiful photos in this lot. Cheers, Richard

  4. No hide, Noushka, but the ducks are often sleeping along side a lake and just inside a fence. The secret is to lean over the fence. If they notice me they usually plunge into the water so I tried to be quiet and gentle in my approach. Thanks for your comment.

  5. Amazing that the ducks just carried on sleeping while you got so close. Did you dress up as a rather large duck Russell? can't imagine the same species here ever being so accomodating.
