Bush Stone-curlew

Just digging through some files and found these shots which again, were birds found and shown to me by Mick Atzeni.  (As with my previous post) Thanks Mick!
Way back in 2008. I wonder where they are now?

  1. Amazing shots Russell and so much like our Stone Curlew apart from long legs on the Bush Stone Curlew. Is that an optical illusion or a genuine variation from European Stone Curlew?

Great shots of the Bush Stone Curlew! So great to see them so easily. Any species of thick-knee is rare here in Thailand. They're quite mysterious birds and I'd love to see them more often.
